MEET THE AUTHOR
I graduated from Morristown (IN) H.S. in 1961. I have a BS degree in Social Sciences and a MS degree in Library Science. Both from Ball State University.
I was a school librarian until I quit to start a family.
Unfortunately that did not work out and we are childless. I never returned as a full-time librarian. I worked as a substitute teacher and part-time church secretary. I took writing courses. I wrote articles for a now defunct newsletter and the local newspaper.
I served on the board of a no-kill shelter for over 30years. I fostered dogs, including some that needed socializing so they could be adopted. I tutored ESL (English as a second language) students for over a decade.
I have felt my true vocation is that of student and seeker of the purpose and hidden realities of life. I wrote "The Awakening of Dan Hanley" to reflect some of what l've learned.
Currently I live with my husband, Howard, of 54years and two cats, Buff and Tuck. I volunteer at the local museum. I am enjoying the life of a senior citizens and continue to learn.
